Sustainability strategy
Do you trade in cocoa, coffee, cattle, palm oil, rubber, soy or wood – or products made from them? Then the EU regulation against deforestation (European Deforestation Regulation) could also be relevant for you from the end of 2026. In an individually tailored workshop or a detailed, EUDR-compliant risk analysis, we will check together whether your company is affected and show you how you can set up your supply chain in a sustainable and legally compliant manner.
The EUDR will apply as of December 30, 2026, to all medium-sized and large market participants and distributors who place relevant products on the market or export them within the EU. Only small and micro-enterprises have an extended deadline until June 30, 2027.
Companies must demonstrate that their products are deforestation-free and sourced from legal sources—through due diligence involving geographic data, risk analysis, and declarations to authorities.
Requirements include, among other things, the geolocation of production areas, proof of legality, and a risk-based assessment of the supply chain. This information must be submitted digitally to an EU information system.
