Your path to SBTi validation

Step 1

Kick-Off

In the first step, you will receive an introduction to SBTi in order to better understand the requirements and the entire project process. We also clarify the distribution of tasks and define the next steps for efficient collaboration.

Step 2

Preparation of an SBTi-compliant balance sheet

We create your company-specific footprint (CCF), taking into account all relevant Scope 3 categories. If necessary, sector-specific targets such as the FLAG framework are also integrated.

Step 3

SBTi registration and target development

You register your company independently in the SBTi Service Portal, while we support you in developing your SBTi-compliant reduction targets. These are formulated in such a way that they meet the requirements of the SBTi and are in line with the scientific climate targets.

Step 4

Preparation of the validation

Together we prepare all the necessary documents for the submission. This includes the Submission Form, the Target Setting Tool and, if necessary, specific sector tools.

Step 5

Support during the SBTi validation process

During validation by the SBTi, we are at your side with regular coordination meetings. We coordinate the exchange between you and the SBTi, answer queries and support you until the validation is complete.

Step 6

Final meeting

After validation, we hold a final meeting in which we discuss your future obligations and further steps to implement the climate targets set.
