Communication & Brand
The requirements for sustainable communication are increasing due to the Empowering Consumers for the Green Transition (ECGT, also known as EmpCo), which obliges companies to base their environmental and sustainability claims on reliable facts and evidence. At the same time, the Green Claims Directive (GCD) is in the legislative process with further technical criteria for the validation of claims. But what does EU regulation mean for your company specifically? We help you understand the legislation and classify obligations, rules, and consequences relevant to your industry and company in a practical manner.
We always consider communication in the context of the overall strategy. Our goal: to anchor sustainability in internal and external communication through meaningful data and facts. To this end, we bring together our interdisciplinary team of sustainability strategists and communication experts to ensure the depth of expertise required for authentic communication.
The focus is on end-user communication to protect consumers from misleading statements. However, German legislation does not explicitly distinguish between B2B and B2C companies, so a practical introduction is suitable for both. The Green Claims Training is particularly recommended for products with a sustainability argument.
We are happy to assist you in reviewing your green claims. We offer this as part of our Green Claims Check. In the training, we discuss best practices for your industry, but we do not examine your communications.
We recommend 3-4 hours to ensure that participants are fully engaged, and any open questions are clarified. The duration may vary depending on the technical background of the participants.
